WildWorks is a kids video game company. Previously partnered with National Geographic,
the company aims to teach kids through educational and engaging content.
My interaction with WildWorks started in 2011, in which I opened a website based on their newly launched game: "Animal Jam." Over the next few years the company would reference my site as a source of feedback and debugging material. In January 2016 I was invited by the CEO of the company to visit company headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah. Sharing insights with various departments, they expressed interest in offering an internship.
As a digital media intern I worked for the company from October 2016 to August 2017, after which they hired me as an Engagement Specialist. Below features content I have created, as well as the accounts I assist in maintaining.
Monthly Deploy Performance Reviews
Compiled sentiment review from social media to compare alongside summaries of Tableu sale reports.
Yearly Paid Media Planning
Planned, proposed, and presented the yearly media plan budget.
Assessing Game Deploy Sentiment
Assisted in tallying, calculating, and presenting player responses to monthly game updates.
Social Media Management
I managed the following social media profiles during my time at WildWorks.
Animal Jam Instagram – Over 155,000 followers and 4,700 posts.
Posts consist of a combination of announcements, cross-platform advertising, and contests.
Respond to DMs from players around the world, answering account questions (utilizing custom
company tool platforms and VPN services to acquire necessary information) and redirect to the correct
support resources and teams when necessary.
Animal Jam YouTube – Over 222,000 subscribers and  26 Million video views.
Along with managing the weekly update content advertisements uploaded to this channel, I cultivate a daily updated "trending" playlist of fan created content, encouraging online influencers to engage with the brand.
During my internship with the company I created a specific line of content for the channel called "Snowyclaw Presents" – some videos are animal biology based education (script, video, and editing all completed by me) while others bring in guest artists from the game community for art tutorials.
Animal Jam Facebook – Over 72,000 follows.
Through Sprout Social tools and direct Facebook moderation
I have completed posts, comments, and message responses for the page.
Animal Jam Twitter – Over 21,000 followers and 3,000 tweets.
Used to post similar media as the Instagram page and make YouTube video announcements.
